Montage Wellness Center has reopened in red tier designation

Dear Members,

We have reopened our Salinas facility on Thursday April 1, 2021. Our Marina facility has been transformed into a COVID-19 vaccination clinic and will remain temporarily closed as we deliver vaccinations to the public during the coming weeks. The opening date of the Marina facility will be communicated as soon as we have it.

Our Salinas facility is operating under the state’s “Red Tier” designation assigned to Monterey County. Under these guidelines, we are operating at a 10% capacity limit. The aquatic area will remain closed until the county achieves an “Orange Tier” designation.

The Salinas facility can be used by both Marina and Salinas members. The total membership capacity will be limited to the first 1,500 members on a first come, first serve basis, so that we can maintain the capacity limitations.

If you would like to reactivate your membership as of April 1, please call or email us as quickly as possible. If we do not hear from you, or if you are not one of the first 1,500 members to activate, we will maintain your membership in a no-cost “hold” position.

To reactivate your membership, please contact our Salinas facility, (831) 622-6900, or fill out the contact us form on our website

For more information regarding the reopening guidelines and the state’s color tier status please visit covid19.ca.gov.

During the time we were closed, we updated, retrofitted, and cleaned our facilities to ensure that your return is a safe one. Visit our website for a full list of measures we have taken to keep you safe and healthy, our revised member etiquette, and our modified social-distancing practices.

As promised, since the 2020 closure occurred in mid-July, when you reactivate, we will be granting all paid members a credit for members good for the first half month of dues. This credit will be applied to your next monthly billing cycle when you return. In addition, we will reduce our monthly membership fees by $10 for primary and associate memberships so long as our aquatic area remains closed in compliance with state guidelines. Monthly dues for Salinas will be $56 for a primary and $45 for an associate member during this interim period.

If you are an Aspire Health Plan member, you will continue to be eligible for the Silver&Fit exercise programs. Because this is a new calendar-year plan, we want to remind you that we are required by the plan to reverify your eligibility. Please allow extra time at your first visit to the facility to allow us to do this. For more information, visit the Aspire Health Plan website.

On behalf of the Montage Wellness Center staff, we share in your desire to return to "normal" and continue on your journey to better health. Your cooperation and patience are invaluable in helping to keep our facilities and community safe. We are all in this together, and we look forward to seeing you very soon!

Sincerely,

Chris Range, General Manager
