Growing up in Redding, I spent the majority of my time competing in sports. I fell in love with baseball at an early age and was determined to keep a jersey on for as long as possible. Striving to be the best I could on the field led me to the weight room, and I became consumed by trying to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I was fortunate enough to earn a scholarship to play baseball and further my education at CSUMB. My love for baseball and training pointed me towards the field of Kinesiology. My interest in health and fitness grew tremendously during my time at CSUMB, I knew I chose the right path.
With aspirations of being the best trainer I could, I offered to build individual training programs for anyone who wanted one. During my time as an Otter, I trained several of my friends, as well as 12 athletes, all of which increased their strength, mobility, and confidence.
My love for health and fitness stems from knowing that anyone can get better if they put forth effort. Whether a person’s goal is to lose weight, increase their strength, or feel better, they can do so. My objective is to provide proper exercise prescription to help others reach their goals. As a trainer I take it upon myself to build goal oriented, fun, and creative exercise programs for whoever trains with me.
